Hey where have you guys been?
Please introduce yourselves,
As you know its Me -Largo. I know back then I probably was the worst on the message-board. I mean I had some serious issues back then.
But here I am 10 years later, And yeah its hard to let go of some things... over the years I constantly checked if MMN or BN was online. I asked Athey if she was going to bring it back many times.
Well, here it is. I'll pay for the Ad free version if we can at least hit 10 members.
I have two kids, and I think Facebook sucks. I dont really do social media.
and I really miss this place, I find the internet boring and scary really.
So tell me who you are, and how things are going!

Well, back when I was active on the boards, I was a moderator in the Random forum. I was probably 13—17 years old? In 2004 I joined the Army and went to basic training after high school, and never really got back into the forums afterward.
From 2004 to around 2008, I kind of slummed it in my home town after coming home from BCT (I was in the National Guard, and thankfully never deployed). In '08, I got a job working at a fairly large national musical instrument retailer, my then-girlfriend (now wife) and I moved in together, and my life began generally trending upward.
In 2010, we got married and moved to the East coast, outside DC. We've bounced around the DC metro area since.
In 2012 I took a major promotion at work. In 2014 I took another one. In 2015 I quit, started college (my fourth attempt, at age 29), and also became a registered yoga teacher. In 2016, we bought a house.
As of today, my wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant with our first child, we celebrated our 7th anniversary last weekend, and I'll have my Bachelor's in Web Design & Development in about nine months. I've got some freelance graphic design work coming in, and I'm hoping to start a web design firm with a friend of mine very soon.
All in all, I'm a very different person than I was on the old BN, though I don't necessarily feel like it.
I'm very much looking forward to catching up with some of the old members, revisiting some of our old interests, and learning about one another all over again.

Welcome, Sean!
As for me, my life has been a winding one so far. It took me a while to figure out which direction to head in, but I' found the right path, and am all the wiser for wondering.
I'm now an editor of sorts, and I practice martial arts when life lets me. Found a wonderful guy, got married, bought a house. it's hard to believe I joined original board all the way back in high school.
It's good to see you guys.

With voice calls, you can talk to your friends and family for free*, even if they're in another country. And with free* video calls, you can have face-to-face conversations for when voice or text just isn't enough. WhatsApp voice and video calls use your phone's Internet connection, instead of your cell plan's voice minutes, so you don't have to worry about expensive calling charges.
