I remember Aliginge was one of my favorite members, He was a pretty talented artist, and his 3d Stuff was on point. I also liked his look outlook on life. Rena, I was friends with her even after the messageboard went down then lost contact. I liked her literature, and I thought it was awesome that she was a kiwi.
Ladyfirestorm ended up being a good friend along the way, I was able to talk to her about a lot of stuff through the years, we lost contact a few times along the way, but all along she has been a dependable friend.
Delsol. I know this guy was not one of my favorites, but he opened my eyes later on in life on how to treat people. I was the reason he left the board.

I kinda feel like "favorite members" might be a little unfair, but there are some members who stick out in my mind more than others. Most of them are from some of the earliest incarnations of the boards, for me—I was one of the OG 'nekoids, having joined at the very beginning of the second Bulletin Board launch (MMN was, I think, v5 of the boards). Shiloh, Onnie, BlackCat, and Xellos were all good friends of mine, and Liz and I actually had a long-distance relationship for some time (we were young, and foolish, and didn't know what we were doing, of course). Onnie and I fell out because I treated her very poorly, and I fell out of contact will all the rest of them except Liz, whom I still count among my very good friends and whose wedding my wife and I attended many years ago. LadyFirestorm and I have been Facebook friends for a while now, but to be perfectly honest we rarely directly interact.
I remember EDG, and CHAOS, and Radical Edward, and I'm sure there are a few other names that would rattle loose some memories. Ospon. Olrac. Suzua Ara. Hayate. Evangelionunit03.
It's strange that a community that was such an important part of my life for so long can fade so quickly and so completely, but here we are. A lot has happened in my life since then, of course.
Honestly what I remember more than any individual member is the feeling of belonging to a community that accepted me with all my quirks and nerdiness, long before the ubiquity of the internet and the gradual mainstream acceptance of geek chic made my hobbies and interests more acceptable, and life experience made me more comfortable and confident in expressing myself. BN was one of the first virtual places where I really felt like I was part of something, and those very early members were a major reason.

That's exactly how I feel.
